The basis of our Quaker faith is the conviction that Gods love abides in the hearts of all, and that all have access to God. We have no ordained minister or liturgy. Our Meeting for Worship is a living silence, a waiting upon God, out of which prayer or ministry may come through anyone present.
The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) is concerned for the practical application of religious principles in business, social and international affairs. It attempts to take literally the command of Jesus to love one another. It rules out violence, and participation in war. It recognises evil, but seeks to meet it with active goodwill.
